Our Accelerated Piano Program is designed for students to learn piano in a group setting, giving them the opportunity to learn and collaborate with other students. This program focuses not only on developing piano technique and music theory skills, but also on teaching students how to practice independently and effectively. Students will be able to perform and listen to other students in the class and at our studio recitals. By combining structured lessons with guided self-practice strategies, students gain confidence and tools to advance their learning.

Our Adult Recreational Music Program is perfect for adults who want to learn piano simply for the joy of playing. Whether you’re a complete beginner or returning to the piano after years away, this relaxed and supportive group class is designed to help you build skills at your own pace - no pressure, no practice requirements. Exam preparation is available in online lessons by request. Online options are available for both the Royal Conservatory of Music exams and Piano Adventures exams. We can also prepare students for the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test), which is offered in locations around the world.

Weekly homework helps support learning at home.
Students will learn the hiragana and katakana writing systems with correct stroke order.
Classes also include everyday vocabulary and phrases. Students will enjoy learning through:
-Traditional Japanese activities like origami
-Learning Japanese songs
-In-class activities, such as bingo, matching, and speaking games
-Fun, social setting with friends

Prerequisite: Japanese 1 class, or can read and write hiragana Students will build on their skills while learning counting, sentence structures, and an introduction to Kanji. Class will continue to practice hiragana and katakana for fluency in reading and writing, including stories and songs.

Students will learn to say easy phrases and use everyday vocabulary through fun games, stories, songs, flashcards, tracing, writing and crafts. Homework is included to help integrate language study at home. Parent participation is not required.

Marugoto Japanese adult group class is designed for students to study at their own pace; even those who only have time to study Japanese once a week. These learning materials (including textbooks) are ideal for overseas learners studying Japanese as a hobby, and also for learners wanting to travel or live in Japan studying for everyday life. This class also provides a good foundation for customer service Japanese; speaking to Japanese tourists confidently and politely.

Our Music for Little Mozarts program is specially designed for young children ages 4 to 6, offering a fun and nurturing introduction to music and piano. Through songs, movement, rhythm games, and creative play, children develop early musical skills while building coordination, listening, and confidence. Each class is filled with joy and imagination, laying the foundation for a lifelong love of music. It's the perfect first step for little ones to explore the world of music in a playful and age-appropriate way.

The RCM offers both practical (instrumental) and theory (written) exams online for students to achieve their recognition remotely. The rigors of the College of Examiners remain the same for in-person, and online exams, but the new digital format offers increased flexibility. Students can complete rcmusic.com/examinations an exam in their own practice space, use their own instrument, and have no need to travel to a testing location.
